Orangeburg, New York \u2013 July 28, 2015<\/strong> \u2013 Impulse Dynamics (USA), Inc. announced that Cardiac electrophysiologist, Andrew Kaplan, M.D., FACC, FHRS became the first physician in the United States to implant the Optimizer\u2122 IVs investigational device as part of the FIX-HF-5C FDA IDE protocol in a heart failure patient with a previously implanted subcutaneous (under the skin) implantable cardioverter defibrillator or S-ICD.\u00a0(link CVAM<\/a>) \u201cIt is exciting that as new technologies emerge we are able to see that the Impulse Dynamics technology is compatible with them: a true testament to the planning and engineering that went into the design process of the Optimizer,\u201d said Dr. Kaplan.<\/p>\n

About the Optimizer and CCM Therapy
